Raising awareness among managers
How can we hope to safeguard natural environments without the involvement of managers and public authorities?
It is by raising awareness among farmers and forest managers, as well as landowners and local authorities, of the importance of conserving these habitats and species that we can hope to protect and restore them. In addition to the intrinsic value of nature and the right to life that all animal and plant species have, the good condition of natural or semi-natural habitats provides a series of ecosystem services that are useful for the survival or at least the good health and well-being of humans: pollination, the quality of groundwater and rivers, clean air, the fight against erosion and mudslides, limiting greenhouse gases, etc.
