Protecting natural habitats

To date, the creation of nature reserves remains one of the best ways of ensuring the sustainable protection of the environments concerned. In this context, the aim of the project is to acquire and protect 110 hectares of areas of great biological interest and to put in place the necessary restoration and management measures.

It should be remembered that LIFE projects can only be developed within Natura 2000 areas, whose designation decrees will also provide protection status for priority species and habitats.
